Development and application of traceability tools for Irish shellfish and fish of economic and conservation concern (TRACE-FISH)
The TRACE-FISH Project is a collaborative project funded by Science Foundation Ireland under the Frontiers for Partnerships Programme. Atlantic Technological University leads the research in collaboration with the University of Galway and the Marine Institute with a number of other project partners including the Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority, Food Safety Authority of Ireland, Bord Iascaigh Mhara and Irish Farmers Association - Aquaculture.
The project aims to advance and promote the Irish seafood industry by developing, testing and delivering functioning science-based traceability tools for a range of species of economic value and ecological importance.
TRACE-FISH is a Science Foundation Ireland project led by a team of researchers from the Marine & Freshwater Research Centre of the Atlantic Technological University, in collaboration with the University of Galway & the Marine Institute.
